I agree with the reviewer "The Fitness Theory"; this wonderful cafe is everything you hope for in a healthy eating option and the staff are absolutely delightful people (who helped me choose, because there were too many good options). It's a bit hidden away in the back streets of Carcavelos but the locals seem to know about it because people were there enjoying themselves on a beautiful day. I did the same as another reviewer and had the salty waffle with an extra poached egg; a staff member suggested it because it's her favourite. Everything is nice here, the people are kind, the cafe has an attractive, spacious design despite being quite small (lots of room outside) and even the interesting bathroom sink is a nice touch. I've already recommended it to our Airbnb host, who was the person who suggested Carcavelos beach to us in the first place. I hope this place is very successful, because it deserves to be.

I had an amazing experience at M Café! The vibe in the restaurant was incredibly chilled and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a healthy meal. The coffee was absolutely fantastic—rich, flavorful, and expertly brewed. The menu offered a great variety of options, so there’s something for everyone. I especially loved the smoothie bowl with tropical fruits; it was so tasty and refreshing, the perfect blend of sweetness and freshness. Overall, it is a wonderful place for a healthy, delicious, and laid-back dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning!

My favourite breakfast/brunch in Lisbon, seems a bit underappreciated due to being a little out of the way. Dishes are sophisticated, interesting, and very tasty with good serving sizes for a reasonable price. Service is great and quick. Highly recommend the sweet and savoury pancakes and egg nest. Even the dark chocolate pancakes are surprisingly light on the stomach and palate, flavours are very well balanced.

I absolutely love M Café for its vegetarian-only cuisine (cheese and eggs available). The dishes are consistently delicious, with a great variety of boards, breakfast items, and healthy lunch options. Everything is vegetarian and packed with flavor. Their specialty coffee is also excellent—only plant-based milk is available, which I really appreciate. I come here often and couldn’t recommend it more!

Such a great brunch place, 15min away from the beach (definitely worth the walk) The salad bowls are massive, and the brunch items are fresh and super creative. Loved the waffles, the pancake tacos (not a lot portion wise but delicious) and the avocado toast with nectarine. the service was amazing and the vibe is incredibly chill, perfect for a weekend!

We recommend the carrot cake, the date bites, and the kids fluffy pancakes with chocolate sauce and fresh fruit. One of our favourite local spots for after school snacks or excellent brunch and coffee! Smiley face cacao !!
